Job Description:
Design, Develop and maintain simple to Complex tableau visualizations.
Participate in agile development process to ensure project deliverables are met, on time and of high quality.
The quality and completeness of assignments, including initial design, development, bug fixing, quality engineering, documentation, and general product maintenance.
To understand specification document and develop as per the design and standards & guide.
Lines which are defined by Immediate Lead/Manager.
Able to provide technical/solution guidance to Tableau Developers.
Should be able to review and resolve the issues with already developed dashboards.
Doing impact analysis and resolving in-process problems independently, or with minor input from the technical lead.
Interfacing with support and other teams for testing, delivery and product dependencies.
Coordinating with team members and understanding status of all projects and provide back-up if necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Visualization tools out of which minimum 3 years of experience in Tableau Desktop (8.x, 9.xand 10.x).
Well-versed with Calculations and logical scenarios and should be an individual contributor.
Have strong analysis and data visualization skills across the data models given for development.
Hands on experience in product/ project development using Tableau.
Exposure of Performance Tuning and Verification of Tableau Dashboards.
Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources using Data Blending.
Expertise of Test, Clean and Standardize Data to meet the business standards using Execute SQL task, Conditional Split, Data Conversion, and Derived column in different environments.
Expertise in generating Tableau Dashboard with quick/context/global filters, parameters and calculated fields on Tableau (8.x, 9.x and 10.x) reports.
Have created Tableau Dashboards with interactive views, trends and drill downs along with user level security and developed Parameterized, Drill Down and AD Hoc Reports.
Involved in Troubleshooting, performance checks of the reports, analysing and rectifying issues within Tableau Server and dashboards.
Involved in upgrading Tableau platforms in clustered environment and performing content upgrades.
Experience usage of Data Blending for joining Multiple Data Sources.
Worked extensively with Calculations, Parameters, Sets, Custom Hierarchies, Background images, Mapping, Actions.
Good knowledge in writing SQL queries & stored procedures, should be able to define complex concepts, solutions & solutions to technical & business stalk holders.
Strong database programming skills.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal and analytical skills.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering /Technology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment and flexible to accommodate demanding.
Project schedules.
Ability to express technical concepts clearly to people with no technical background.
